- Aids you in identifying any external and/or internal triggers that can cause mood changes/swings
- Develop coping techniques to help you deal with negative or unwanted behaviors
- Determine if a treatment/coping strategy is helping you improve your mood
But you might ask yourself: why should I care about tracking and noticing my mood patterns? Well, because the way we feel impacts the way we think. And, as such the way we think determines the actions we take which influences our experiences and ultimately, our feelings.
